Benji drove down the highway, carefully watching the road and sometimes squinting because it was beginning to rain heavily. He smiled as he heard his girlfriend Tice's voice singing along to the radio.
"Like the song Ticey?" Benji asked smiling.
"This song is so great, and I love the way Eddie Vedder's voice sounds." She smiled and tucked her newly died purple hair behind her ear. "Although I always thought you'd do a better job."
Benji laughed and smiled. "Oh yea, my voice is oh so much better than *sigh* Eddie Vedder's!" The two laughed and Tice playfully pushed his arm. "So did you enjoy the movie Tice?"
She sighed and nodded. "Yea, I really liked it. Too bad Pearl Harbor is a chick flick." She laughed and curled up in the seat, taking off her seat belt to do so. Benji sighed happily as he heard her drift off to sleep. Not thinking, he quickly looked down at her and smiled. Then he drifted his eyes back to the road. Ahead in the road was a car that had broken down. In a panick, he swerved into the opposite lane, right towards the oncoming traffic.
The next things went by too fast for Benji to remember. He remembers the car hitting an object and going airborne, then glass and a painful scream.
Slowly Benji opened his eyes and felt the rain beating down on him. He felt a warm liquid fall down his face, and realized he has a gash on his head, and it was badly bleeding. Then he remembered the scream. He jumped up and moved past the people that had surrounded him. He saw another group of people and pushed through them to see Tice lying on the ground, glass and blood surrounding her.
Benji lifted her and set her into his lap. He began to cry and scream. "TICEY! NO, GOD DAMMIT, TICE??" Her eyes fluttered open a little and she looked up at Benji.
"Benji, hold me...." She told him, barely in a whisper. He could see the tears falling down her cheeks despite the rain that was falling harshly down. He leaned down and kissed her tears and made down and kissed her lips.
"Don't leave me Tice, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to crash! Please? I am sorry. See, I mean it so come back!" Benji held her closer and kissed her lips deeply once more as he felt her body go limp.
She was dead.

Two months later, Good Charlotte was onstage on the last date of their tour with MxPx. The fans had all known what happened to Tice, and they all knew Benji still had not fully recovered. He didnt seem to have as much energy anymore...
After they did "Little Things", Benji walked up to the mic.
"Hey guys, I just would like to thank you all for being here, and I have a special treat for ya's." He started strumming a few chords and began to sing a song that he never thought he'd sing.....
